The goal of the Verified Green Partner^™ Program is to develop a strong and visible communication system for building maximum recognition and awareness of Verified Green and its partners as vehicles for positive change in the design and build processes. The intent is to show commitment to the Green building movement and environmental change.

The first step to becoming a Verified Green Partner^™ is to undergo Green building training through Verified Green or an approved facilitator. Training focused on your company, its culture, working style, and goals is important for facilitating understanding and behavioral change. Training brings an in-depth look at the needs of your company in the greater context of Green building.

Once training has occurred, each company wishing to be considered as a Verified Green Partner^™ must complete a letter of commitment outlining how the company will promote and implement Green building and design technologies, systems, and philosophies in all aspects of the business. Verified Green will review the ways in which a company will incorporate Green into the workings of the company and its culture, how Green is incorporated into the business and working environment, and how the company will influence their clients to incorporate Green measures in their business practices or personal lifestyle.

Verified Green will also review the goals and objectives set for the implementation of these changes and the timeline for achieving these goals. Partnership with Verified Green will remain for one year from the date of acceptance. To remain a Verified Green Partner^™, an updated training must occur at the end of the yearly Partner^™ cycle.

A Verified Green Partner^™ will be allowed use of the Verified Green Partner^™ logo to promote their commitment to learning about and incorporating Green strategies to positively promote environmental change. It may be used on websites and printed promotional materials. The Partnership Program, however, is not an endorsement of the company, its products, or policies.

Verified Green and Verified Green Partner^™ are registered trademarks of Verified Green, Incorporated. Use of the logos in a manner not permitted, or without the permission of Verified Green, Inc. is strictly prohibited and will be pursued under the full extent of the law.
